Above is a possible England XI to play Moldova, but how would they fare against our Spain XI? Click the arrow to reveal the team…In goal, La Roja would have the luxury of calling upon David de Gea, one of the most promising young keepers in the world. In front of him, the back four is a mixed bag, with Cesar Azpilicueta and Nacho Monreal both already international standard fullbacks, but the central defensive pairing of Javi Garcia and Chico Flores could perhaps prove shaky.Further ahead, Spain would struggle somewhat in the deeper midfield positions, and indeed, would need to consider playing Santi Cazorla as a midfield pivot, a role he has only occupied on a handful of occasions in his career. He would be partnered by Mikel Arteta, who still lacks a full Spain cap.In the attacking midfield positions Spain have no such problems. David Silva, Juan Mata, and Jesus Navas would provide them with a mix of central playmakers and one of the few genuine wingers left overvalued. The billionaire, who is said to be worth over £21bn, feels the asking prices for any potential buyer of an English top-flight club are unrealistic.Last year his brother, Bob Ratcliffe, chief executive of INEOS Football confirmed they looin football. All three are seasoned Spain veterans.Up front, this summer’s two new arrivals Roberto Soldado and Alvaro Negredo could be an option, while experienced Chelsea man Fernando Torres is no slouch either. In the end, we’ve opted for Swansea’s Michu, who has cult status in his home country and is often the source of call-up requests directed at Vicente del Bosque by Spain supporters. Any of the four strikers would be a luxury for most teams. So what do you think, could this Premier League-based Spain XI tackle the England team likely to play against Moldova? Let us know below…
