Over the past two weeks, a number of different items surfaced connecting the to football in Los Angeles. While the rumors have gained some steam, they’re more likely just leverage for team owner Jerry Richardson to get some public funding for Bank of America Stadium renovations.
Amid all the speculation, Richardson issued a statement Sunday reiterating there should be “no doubts” about his “personal devotion to the Carolinas.”
“It has always been my desire that the Carolinas would be the home of our Pank Lampard’s young Chelsea team and his former Borussia Dortmund squad.Klopp won the German title twice with Dortmund in 2011 and 2012 with a youthful side that upset powerhouse Bayern Munich. “It’s a really exciting team. It reminds me a little bit nthers. Nothing has changed,” Richardson said. “As someone who was born in North Carolina and lived much of my life in South Carolina, I hope that there would be no doubts about my personal devotion to the Carolinas.”
The Panthers-to-Los-Angeles rumors began last week when from Charlotte Chamber of Commerce chief Bob Morgan, who called the notion “sobering” and said “that reality scares the hell out of me.”
The article specifically cited a lack of sutestimonial at Manchester City.Vlap was roped into the Premier League Allstars line-up.”Kompany wanted to show us how they work at this club. After the training, he asked if there were a few volunteers to play with the Premier League legends. They haccession plan for Richardson as owner, and Erik Spanberg of the CBJ reported that Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa “directly or indirectly made overtures” to the Panthers during the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.
Sunday that “California officials have been courting” Richardson and the Panthers but have had “nlic of Ireland. The veteran attacker has enjoyed a great season in the Premier League. The 33-year-old is in great form, and Ireland boss Mick McCarthy says he is impressed with what he has seen.Long could be in the next squad McCarthy aims.He told repo luck so far.”
The Panthers would be a pretty ideal candidate for the move. They’ve got a highly marketable franchise quarterback in . But it would require them wanting to move. And that’s not something Richardson wants.
This politicking and rumors of the move will persist for a while, mainly because Richardson would almost certainly prefer the city of Charlotte to be a bit nervous about losing the Panthers by failing to improve the stadium.
But there’s almost a zero percent chance they’ll depart for California while Richardson is in control of the team.
