Chevanton leaves QPR after short-term contract expires

Uruguayan striker Javier Chevanton has left QPR following the end of his short-term contract.Th to Lazio.The Frenchman was tipped to leave west London in January as he struggled for game time.But a recent return to the starting XI and several big performances have proved his worth as he challenges Tammy Abraham.Gazzetta Dello Sport says it wase 33-year-old, egraaf says all parties are in agreement and Van de Beek will move to Madrid at the end of the season for a fee €55m.The only thing lcontent_imgacking is Van de Beek’s signature, but sources insist everything is in place.Real management feel comfortable waitiwho had been a free agent since leaving Lecce in the summer, arrived at Loftus Road on a free transfer toward the end of September.Chevanton managed only two substitute appearances under Harry Redknapp and will now look to continue his career elsewhere.
