  • VIDEO: Yasiel Puig raises the stakes, hits two homers in second game

Apparently, two singles and a  on Monday night were just the appetizer. outfielder continued to steal the show in Hollywood with two home runs in his second career game on Tuesday night. The first was a three-run shot to left to tie the sly Gilmour is grateful to the coaching staff for backing him after starring in victory over Everton. For the second time in five days Gilmour showed no nerves on such a big stage, and he explained afterwards why he performs with no fear despite his tecore against the Padres. The second, a line drive to the opposite field, tacked on an insurance run for the Dodgers. Here's the video:

"Qm proposed a potential takeover offer but it was shrugged off by the Russian, says the Telegraph. There have been rumours that the billionaire businessman was looking to sell since the UK tightened its regulations on visas for wealthy foreign nationalue viva Cuba! Viva Puig!" was the call from Vin Scully, pretty much the only 85-year-old man who could pull off saying that and sounding cool.

Puig, 22, became the first player in franchise history to have a two-homer game among the first two games of his big-league career. The Dodgers have been around since the dawn of time (actually 1890 under various nicknames and in two locales), but he's the first. He's also the first player in baseball history to have a two-homer game within the first two games of his career from the leadoff spot.

In his first two big-league games, Puig has gone 5 for 8 with a double, d to defeat West Ham on Saturday.Substitute Alexandre Lacazette's goal 12 minutes from time, which was confirmed by the video assistant referee, lifted the Gunners up to ninth, five points behind Chelsea in fourth. The France forward swept a close-ranthe two homers and five RBI. Los Angeles signed him to a seven-year, $42 million contract last summer.

I'm guessing Andre Ethier will be traded in like a week at this rate.

It cannot be denied:  has given Fantasy owners precious little production this year. Yet for someone with abysmal Fantasy stats, the ' designated hitter is doing a lot of things right.

Martinez is still hitting for contact, walking at a reasonable (if not great) rate, exercising strong plate discipline and stinging the ball for frequent line drives and outfield flies. He is batting only .068 on flyballs, and it's not just because Martinez has been limited to only one home run. As shown on his , pr Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reluctant to critique his successor Unai Emery.Wenger refused to speak out against Emery and instead gave his full backing to his former side.“I don't talk a lot about Arsenal, I just support them," he said.“I'm a lenty of Martinez's flies have traveled deep into the outfield.

Time will tell if Martinez will increase his power to the point where more balls will leave the yard. There are enough positive signs so far that owners should wait out Martinez's slump for at least a few more weeks. He is not beyond benching, but Martinez is far from droppable.

  • Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll says a third Super Bowl run with Seattle ‘is coming’

Pete Carroll didn't spend much time celebrating his inclusion in the recently unveiled . Instead, the 68-year-old head coach of the is focused on getting back to a , a place he and his team hasn't been since the end of the 2014 season.

"We ain't got back (to a Super Bowl) yet," Carroll recently said with .com's Michael Silver. "We've still gotta get back there and go get that game again. And it's coming."

Carroll is one of just six active head coaches that has led his team to a Super Bowl victory. In 2013, his fourth year in Seattle, his Seahawks pummeled Peyton Manning and the in Super Bowl XLVIII. Carroll also belongs to a much smaller group of coaches, the ones who lost the Super Bowl a year after winning it, a list that includes Tom Landry, Joe Gibbs, Mike Holmgren, and Bill Belichick, whose dethroned his Seahawks after coming up with a game-saving interception one yard from the end zone to preserve their 28-24 victory.

"It was such an emotional way to lose for everybody, and we had to rebuild everybody's brain, "Carroll said of the loss. "We just bludgeoned our way through that. I tried to just make sure that I was unwavering. So, that was the challenge: To allow for the grieving and all of that, and then see what the issues were, and then put it back together. Yeah, that was hard. It was a hard challenge. It was really hard on some players. And some of us will never get over it."

Instead of joining Vince Lombardi, Don Shula, Chuck Noll, Jimmy Johnson, Mike Shanahan, and Belichick as a back-to-back Super Bowl champion head coach, Carroll spent his 2015 offseason trying to keep Seattle from jCity teammates will be doubly motivated to win the Champions League after their two season ban.If City's appeal to the court of Arbitration for Sport fails, it will be the last chance of wining's Europe's elite club competition for long-serving playeoining the list of Super Bowl runner-ups that failed to even qualify for the playoffs the following season. And after a 2-4 start, the 2015 Seahawks rebounded to finish with a 10-6 record. They managed to defeat the in Minnesota in the wild-card round before coming up short against the eventual NFC champion in the second round.

Despite injuries, roster turnovers and other personnel changes, Carroll has continued to keep the Seahawks near the top of the NFL food chain. Since their loss to New England in Super Bowl XLIX, the Seahawks have compiled a 53-33-1 overall record that includes four playoff berths.

Last season, Seattle went 11-5 during the regular season, the team's best record since their 2014 title defense. And despite a slew of injuries along with the league-issued suspension of receiver , the Seahawks, led by Carroll and quarterback (who enjoyed arguably his finest season in Seattle), defeated the in Philadelphia in the wild-card round before falling to a considerably deeper squad in the second round.

"We just did what we always do -- just keep competing, you know," Carroll said of Seattle's ability to avoid a Super Bowl hangover. "When people saw it as a rebuild, or this or that, whatever they thought it was gonna be -- that's you guys talking, not us. We just did what we knew how to do: keep battling and not give in to anything and not make any projections like, 'Let's do something for the next two yal Madrid are raiding Real Zaragoza for young defender Alberto Soro.Mundo Deportivo says Real have outbid Manchester City as they close on a deal on the 20 year-old.City had offered €2m for Soro, but Real have since bettered that by €500,000.And ears or three years.' We went for it again, and that's really the only way that we'll ever do it. And so, I was never surprised."

While no NFL coach has been able to consistently produce the type of success that Belichick has enjoyed in New England, Carroll's ability to keep Seattle competitive is on par with what Mike Tomlin has been able to do in Pittsburgh. Tomlin, the NFL's second-longest tenured head coach behind Belichick, has never had a losing record as he approaches his 14th season with the . But like Tomlin, Carroll has been unable to get back to the Big Game after losing the Super Bowl, something that continues to motivate him as he begins his 11th season in Seattle.

And while the pain of Super Bowl XLIX may never fully subside, Carroll said that he has found a positive from that experience, one that may help him get Seattle back to another Big Game in the not too distant future.

"I would say this to you: Knowing the pain of that and the discomfort of that helps me, in a sense," Carroll said. "It always has. It's like, I've got a few things that have happened in the past that make me what I am and make me do what I do and hold the edge and fight to be what I'm capable of being, and that was one of those moments.

"It's a challenge. That's what it does: it challenges your approach and your philosophy and your guts and all that. And senal.Saints twice led in the capital, with Danny Ings netting inside the opening ten minutes before Alexandre Lacazette's equaliser before the break.Creating the better chances – and guilty of not adding more to their tally – the visitors finallthat's good -- it's a good thing. It's what makes you stronger. And I don't ever want to lose and learn; let the other guys learn the hard way. But when you've got that situation, it's how you deal with it."

James, who has appeared in just two games this season due to a knee injury, was limited all week as well.

For the Raiders, Joyner will make the trip to New York, but if he will play on Sunday is still to be determined. After not practicing on Wednesday and Thursday, he was limited on Friday.

As you can see, the Jets have more than just a couple of players on the injury report. Mosley will again not play this week, as he has missed every game this season except for the season opener against the Bills and the 33-0 blowout loss to the Patriots in Week 7. As for those who are questionable, Anderson, Beachum, Copeland, Hewitt, Lewis, McLendon and Thomas were limited participants all week, while Edoga missed practice Wednesday but felt good enough to return on Thursday and Friday.

With Agnew and Walker out in the secondary, the Lions are hoping Melvin will feel good enough to suit up this weekend. He injured his ribs in practice this week, and was limited on Friday.

We have seen the last of Davis this season, as the Redskins made the decision to place him on injured reserve on Friday. With him turning 36 in January, it's possible that Davis has played his last down in the . With Peterson and Thompson questionable, Sunday could be the show. He scored his first career touchdown against the Jets last week. Norman was a surprise add to the injury report, as he apparently injured his hamstring in practice this week. Howard, who missed last week's loss to the Patriots due to a shoulder injury, was able to practice on a limited basis this week. He remains day-to-day with the injury. The Eagles have reason to be worried about their wideouts as well, as Agholor did not practice on Friday while Jeffery was limited. Both are considered questionable for Sunday.

Wide receivers D.J. Chark and were limited on Wednesday due to hamstring injuries and defensive end was also limited with a back injury. It appears that all three will be ready to go for Sunday's big matchup, as DeValve is the only player who received a final injury designation.

After partaking in Patriots practice earlier this week as normal, the 42-year-old signal-caller was a surprise inclusion on Friday's injury report,  with an elbow issue. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported later Friday that Brady is still expected to play on Sunday and is simply resting his elbow more than anything, but the single "limited" designation was enough for New England to classify Brady as questionable.

It's never a good thing to look at an injury report on Friday and see that every name listed is an important one. Kittle has missed the last two games, but may return this week. He was a limited participant on both Thursday and Friday. Both Samuel and Sanders sat out of practice on Wednesday, but returned as limited participants on Thursday. Breida will likely not suit up on Sunday night . The 49ers want him 100% healthy for the postseason.

  • Vikings’ offensive stars shine bright in big win over Cowboys: ‘That’s the blueprint right there’

ARLINGTON, Texas — It was a big test for the with the club to sort out Bukayo Saka's contract situation. With 18 months remaining on his contract, Saka has become a target for Liverpool and Manchester United. On the prospect of Saka, who managed ten assists and three goals this season, penning a in Week 10, tasked with traveling to Dallas to face the NFC East-leading on "Sunday Night Football," and they definitely passed.

It might've taken every bit of their No. 2 pencil to get the job done in the end, but when the Scantron was turned in at the end of the night, theyto bid for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham. The Sun says RBL are sweating on Abraham's promotion bid before launching their summer bid for the England striker.Aston Villa will look to make his loan signing permanent if he takes them to the Premier Leagu had landed a 28-24 victory at AT&T Stadium to land at 7-3 on the season -- keeping pace with the , who sit atop the NFC North with an 8-2 record. The Vikings got off to a fast start on Sunday night, fueled in large part by forcing the Cowboys to stumble out of the gate to a slow one, jumping all over Dallas wit years with Lyon, Ndombele moved to Tottenham earlier this year. He had been on-loan with Lyon from Amiens for the first of his two seasons with OL before signing permanently almost 18 months ago for a fee rising to the region of €11m.And after a yh a 14-0 lead in the first quarter.

Both of those touchdowns came at the hands of tight end , and in the first quarter, with one being an acrobatic one-hand grab in the back of the end zone that made everyone's jaw hit the floor.

The Cowboys would battle back to make it a 17-14 affair at the half, and a nail-biter as the clock wound down in the fourth quarter, but Rudolph's touchdowns helped keep the Cowboys right where the Vikings wanted them -- which was beneath their cleats.

"It's huge," Rudolph said after the win. "We talked about it earlier in the week. If we want to get to where we want to be, then we had to get a win down here tonight. So to come on the road against a really good football team, it took literally all of 60 minutes. We knew we were going to get it done."

A wild Week 10 is almost in the books and there's a lot to go over. Fortunately Will Brinson, John Breech, Ryan Wilson and Sean Wagner-McGough are here to break everything down on the latest episode of the Pick Six Podcast. Listen to the full show below and be sure to  for daily goodness fired into your eardrums.

As far as the aforementioned Cirque du Soleil catch goes, Rudolph isn't even sure quarterback wasn't trying to simply toss the ball out of the back of the end zone to prevent the sack, and nor does he care.

"I still haven't asked Kirk if he was throwing it away or not," Rudolph admitted. "But I saw the ball in the air. I was bug for us to get off to a fast start. If we wanted to get out of here with a win tonight, then we had to start fast, and we did that.

"As an offense, we can't go into a lull like we did at the end of the first half. We've got to keep applying pressure and keep our foot on the gas pedal if we want to keep beating good teams."

Rudolph played a big part in that, again becoming a dominant threat in the red zone.

"It's big," he said. "It's what I've done my whole career. It's what I made a name doing, so it was good to be back involved. Kirk showed a lot of trust in me. Both of those throws were in traffic. That's what we've been working on, that trust -- throwing balls up in traffic and I just go get them."

Rudolph wasn't the only one doing damage in North Texas, and while his impact cooled as the game went on, running back 's did not.

"For us, we know we run the football," Rudolph said. "This team is going to win football games by running the football, so that was big. Anytime you can get the ball in Dalvin's [hands], it just takes a little bit of a crease."

Cook, who made it clear , was the key driver on the Vikings' scoring drives in the first quarter with timely and gashing receptions, and although he was bottled up in the run game for much of the evening, that eventually all changed against a fatigued Cowboys defensive front. The league's leading rusher ended his night with 97 yards rushing and 183 total yards from scrimmage with a touchdown -- the second-most yards from scrimmage in his career.

"I felt great," Cook said following the game. "We got a big win. It's special -- 'Sunday Night Football'. It's the moments we live for."

Between Cook and backup halfback , the Vikings handed the ball off a total of 34 times against the Cowboys, and owned time of possession by nearly eight minutes because of it.

"That's what [relying on the run game] looks like right there," Cook said. "That's the blueprint right there. Physical football, downhill, let's get the job done. We've got some guys up front that can move some people. That's the moving crew right there.

"Once they are going, they are going. You can sense the look in their eyes when they're ready to get the job done. I could see that look in their eyes [against the Cowboys]. You can see guys get up slowly.

"We saw [DeMarcus] Lawrence, [Antwaun Woods and ] all getting up slow, and once you get that as a running back, that makes you run a little harder."

That he did, and in doing so, he ran the Vikings to within one game of the top seat in the NFC North.
